A mobile food delivery app designed and prototyped using Adobe XD.
Home Screen
I chose to prioritize the user’s favorite and most-frequented restaurants, as well as options for quick delivery.
Colored text highlights useful information and calls to action.
Order View
I created a link in the footer navigation to allow users easy access to their order history.
Users can easily tab between in-progress and past orders.
Account
I added an account link in the footer navigation to give easy access to user settings, help, and information unique to them.
Search & Filter
People can filter their searches for price ranges and dietary restrictions
A tab bar gives them the option of searching for cuisine-specific restaurants or just the food they’re craving.
Menu
My menu design is kept simple to reduce the number of clicks users need to complete the process.
Customization
I created dropdown modals to enable users to easily customize each item of their order on the same screen.
Consistent throughout the app, the orange font signifies a call to action.
Location
A prompt appears on the final payment screen if the user’s actual location doesn’t match their default setting.
The darker color makes it stand without taking up a lot of screen space.
Tracking
I designed animation that allows users to follow the progress of their order.
When the order is ready for delivery, they have the option to track the driver on a map.
I added driver detail to give people peace of mind, and a contact button— just in case.
